01Renting basics

Who can rent your equipment?+

Anyone 18 or older with valid government-issued photo ID. To tow a trailer you'll also need a valid driver's licence and a vehicle properly rated for the load.

How long can I rent for?+

We offer daily, weekly and monthly rates. Tell us your dates and we'll find the best option for your job.

Do I need experience to run the machines?+

No licence is required, but you should have basic experience or training on similar equipment. We'll give you a walkthrough at drop-off — and if you'd rather not run it, we can supply an operator.

Is there paperwork?+

Yes — all renters sign our Rental Agreement & Waiver (digitally or on paper) before taking equipment. It's quick and we'll walk you through it.

02Delivery & service area

Do you deliver?+

We deliver and pick up all over Vancouver Island. Delivery rates depend on your town — just ask and we'll quote it.

Where can I use the equipment?+

On Vancouver Island only, unless we approve otherwise in writing. Equipment can't go off-island, across borders or on ferries without our consent.

What towns do you cover?+

From Victoria to Campbell River — Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Duncan, the Cowichan Valley, Parksville, Qualicum, Port Alberni, Courtenay/Comox and everywhere between.

03Towing & safety

What do I need to tow a trailer?+

A 7-pin receiver, enough towing capacity for the load, and a trailer brake controller. We provide a properly rated hitch, trailer ball, safety chains and tie-downs.

How is the load secured?+

Load evenly, keep within the payload limit, and use the tie-down points provided. We'll show you how to load and secure safely before you leave.

What if something breaks down?+

Stop using it right away and call or text Ben at (250) 739-2988. Don't try to repair or force it — we'll sort it out.

04Returns & policies

What condition should equipment come back in?+

Clean, undamaged, with all attachments and matching fuel/battery levels. Excessive mess or damage may incur a cleaning or repair fee.

What's your cancellation policy?+

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or changes. No-shows or same-day cancellations may be subject to a $50 fee.

What happens if I return late?+

Late returns without notice may result in additional daily rental fees. If you're running behind, just let us know and we'll work with you.
